Bring your content (back) to life on LinkedIn

Breathe life into old content with the simple click of the post button on LinkedIn.
In this follow up to my article 9 billion reasons to start posting on LinkedIn i’ll elaborate on more of the features LinkedIn offers to showcase your content… both old and new.
First here are a few stats to remind you why LinkedIn is such a great platform for B2B sales conversations.

Here’s some content I prepared earlier
One of the easiest ways to start sharing documents on LinkedIn is to repurpose content that’s already worked well for you. After all, you’ve spent time and money on creating this content why not get it out there for more eyes to see.
Whether it’s a PowerPoint presentation, case study, PDF or short video, you can easily post this on LinkedIn with their simple to use click and upload tool. You can update the document by adding a call to action on the last page and by asking people to share the post.
Remember this content has already been created so all you have to do is literally upload and post it. Sharing relevant content is a great way to engage your followers and potential clients, it’s also a way to drive more visitors and prospects to your website.

LinkedIn groups are another great feature that can help you grow your business network and find new leads in your field.
What are LinkedIn groups you ask?
They are hubs on LinkedIn which provide a place for professionals in the same industry or with similar interests to share content, find answers, post and view jobs, make business contacts, and establish themselves as industry experts.

When you join LinkedIn groups, you have the opportunity to show off your expertise on certain topics and from there start to build relationships with like-minded people. You can join up to 100 groups and create/manage up to 30.
Summary
LinkedIn is an untapped channel for your old (and new) sales and marketing content.
It allows you to reach and showcase your content/expertise to a whole new audience.
